At Linköping University, there are clear rules about what is allowed and not when it comes to sound and image recording in connection with lectures or other teaching situations. This is a short summarization of the rules: 

1. Sound recording, photography, filming and similar recording of lectures, seminars and other teaching situations are generally not allowed.
2. However, the individual teacher has the possibility to explicitly give authorized participants the permission for sound recording, photography or filming at the given time.
3. That sound recording, photography or filming permission for a specific session has been given does not imply a right for a student or other person responsible for such permission to disseminate, make available or otherwise use the recording for purposes other than their personal study purposes
